Hey guys, I'm sharing a few of my Project Life pages I've been working on lately.
This week I've had a lot of fun playing with sequins in my layouts. Deciding which color combinations work best with the pictures and of course figuring out how I was going to incorporate the same sequins on the back of my page as I did with the front. The biggest challenge was how to make the two spreads different when they share the same accent pocket.
I managed to accomplish the separation of events by color coding my pages. White and kraft on my first spread/layout. Pink and white on the back. I love the variety I have between these two pages. They are obviously two different days/events and that is reflected in the page colors despite each page using the same accent pocket.
I love that every time you move your album or flip your pages, you get a new look with the way the sequins shake and land within their pockets. (You can see how the sequins lay out a little differently between the images- love it!)
Sewing shut some of your pockets here and there is a great way to add unique accent pieces with minimal effort. Throw in some sequins, wood veneers, or movie tickets and you're good to go. What unique item have you been using in your albums?
xoxo, Laura
