Project Life Layout from May

It's been pretty quiet around the blog lately, with only a few posts each month. You know how the story goes, "I've just been so busy..." blah, blah, blah. I've been working tons, focusing on my two etsy shops and my photography business and been doing a lot of Project Life catch up. You can officially look forward to lots of new blog content coming up over the next few months! YAH!

Today I'm sharing a fun layout I made from May. The colors in the photos are really dark and dramatic which is usually not my go to, but I LOVED it in this spread and the photos themselves are amazing. I love having a job that I actually enjoy- so much so that it becomes a part of my scrapbook because it's part of my daily life. Heck yes for being a scrapbooking nanny.

Things that happened in this layout- Abby and I had fun in the lawn at Queen's college (such a gorgeous campus!) I baked cornbread for more than 50 of Lizy's classmates and their parents. I bought a lot of fresh flowers and spent time trying to relax in the little time I was home because I worked A LOT in May.

I'm very happy with the layout and can't wait to show more. I'm not one for rushing through the catch up process in Project Life. I know a lot of people rush, rush, rush when they fall super behind like I have, but I can't do it. It's a creative process for me and all creative things take time. What have you been working on lately?

xoxo,
Laura

  1. I really love the photos in this layout and I think you've done a really fantastic job of coming up with a design that accentuates that. Sadly, I haven't sat down to create since camp a fortnight ago. That's gone so quick! Must get back on the horse this week.
