Hello gorgeous people,
I hope you all had a super wonderful weekend- it was cold here in Charlotte. But the great part about icky weather, is all the excuses I have to stay in and craft all day. Finally getting around to sharing my birthday spread with you guys, today! I turned 24 last month and I knew I'd be making a pretty big deal about it in my project life album because I was going to start the birthday tradition! The birthday tradition is a great idea from Rebecca, who documents a number of things she's grateful for each year on her birthday.
So this year I decided to document 24 things I am thankful for in my 24th year. (I just love how relaxed and easy this idea is compared to an annual gratitude journal.) Oh, and I also added a glitter surprise page, just for fun!
I didn't do much on my birthday, that's why there's not a whole lot going on. I stayed home and took off work, Stephen came home from work with a bouquet of red roses for me, then we went to the movies and back home for an early night. It was lovely to just slow down and relax before all the hustle and bustle of the holidays.
I used the Sunshine edition core kit, and the Polka Dot Party mini kit for this project life layout. I adore how feminine and girly it is. All about the birthday girl, for sure! How do you document your birthday?
